The Graceful Skeletal Concept

The very mention of human anatomy makes one think of the skeleton that induces a sense of somber and dark vibrations. The ominous and the menacing concept which is automatically attached to the image of skeleton, has been many times, used by the eminent fashion designers, to display the evil and the deadly. This is actually, for the first time, that we have witnessed a complete break through from the devilish image associated with the skeletal idea. The emerging fashion artist Ronald Abdala, in his very initial ready to wear collection designed for AW08-9, has stunned the audience with the graceful idea of skeleton. The fashion designer has decently used the concept of skeleton and has subtly made it the back drop of his collection named ‘X-Ray’. He has been inspired by human anatomy but has not used it in a way so that it seems overdone. This is where the uniqueness of his collection lies. You will be able to track out spinal cord, ribs and the lines of muscles, but they do not overpower the design and patterning of the chic silhouettes.

The creative fashion designer has brought together the styles of different epochs from Grecian to Victorian and has skillfully amalgamated them with the common background of the skeletal detail.
