Alexander McQueen: a tribute by the number of U.S. Vogue May 2011
Alexander McQueen is one of the designers most beloved of all time, after his death, the brand has continued and now is at the helm Sarah Burton, McQueen’s right arm. Vogue U.S. devotes a photo shoot in “Savage Beauty”, a work that anticipates an opening retrospective at the Costume Institute on May 4 in which guests can enjoy the creations of McQueen. These photos were put in place the best in everything, the best photographer, models most fascinating and most experienced stylist!

These beautiful photographs were taken by Steven Meisel The stylist Grace Coddington is very good and the models are: Coco Rocha, Karen Elson, Caroline Trentini, Stella Tennant, Karlie Kloss and Raquel Zimmerman, One for each photo, one for every outfit.
These pictures and these clothes are a clear example of how much we miss McQueen, How much his absence has left a huge void.
Sarah Burton is doing a great job, can not deny it, but I do not know, but you feel its essence is normal and perhaps rightly so, was a genius and I do not think there will be another McQueen although some names are beginning to offer something new and original, as Gareth Pugh.
