Givenchy’s Ballerina Looks

Ballerina

The spring’ summer 2008 collection by Givenchy is remarkably different from the norm and takes us all off from the everlasting gardens full of flowers on our apparels. The artistic designer has come to believe that beauty is not only about colors and fairy like looks. There are so many different forms in which feminist can be manifested.

The “Gothic Ballerina” collection by Riccardo Tisci has served the purpose of displaying the restrained beauty in dark colors. The innovative outlook by Givenchy is commendable. the dark tailoring and the pleated skirts gives a new appearance to the models of spring season who have been bored till now by wearing colorful dresses for the season. Ribbons, frills and feathers have been used in the collection, but are marvelously different from their conventional look. These all contribute towards the gothic side of feminist.

I am speechless about the collection. i think it is stylish and deviant. What do you think about these? Aren’t they wonderfully non conventional, yet beautiful?

Parrot Print Dress: The Style For Spring

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 | Apparels, Designer, New Designer Stuff, Spring Collection 2008, Style with No Comments »

Parrot Print Dress

I am proponent of matching up to the expectations of a particular season by wearing apparels that match with the mood of the season. In summers, I feel that shorts and loose tops should be the dominant trend. For the spring, I feel that every one must look as vibrant and colorful as possible as the season itself signifies color and beauty.

While trying to find sparklingly vital apparel for the spring, I came across this exquisitely colorful dress designed by none other than Jean Paul Gaultier. Well, his name only emphasizes that the silhouette would be exclusive and marvelous.

Parrot Print Dress

The jungle print on the dress is so brilliant that the onlookers would stare at it unconsciously. The sweetheart neckline and the tank straps are perfect for the season. The bandeau bodice gives a good fitting at the bust and its contrast with the color of the entire dress enhances the beauty. The lengthy sash tie at the back of the apparel is awesome. It gives an exclusive shape and appearance to the whole outfit. I think that this is ‘the’ dress for the season. I just love it. It is available online for only $625.

Flimsy Fabrics Dominate The Trend

Monday, March 24th, 2008 | Apparels, Designer, Designer dresses, Designers, Fashion, Fashion Designers, Spring Collection 2008, Style, Summer Collection 2008 with No Comments »

BCBG

The trends for the upcoming seasons of spring and summer are decided by the fashion tycoons of the industry. This year, the trends which will dominate the high street fashion are going to be the ones which are extremely delicate and flimsy. Therefore, just leave your selves free this season and follow the delicate and flimsy fashion trend. To your surprise you will find out the benefits of such trend following. The designers have been stressing on these fabrics as they are quite comfortable in summers and springs. They give you scope for being yourself.

Alessandro Dell AcQua

Well known fashion designers such as BCBG, Alessandro Dell AcQua as well as J.Mendel have purported the current trend by designing such garments. Don’t you think that this is an innovative style? i find the style exclusive, creative, and comfortable too. The fashion artists have just turned these fragile fabrics into loose skirts or overlays. Another noticeable point is that the dresses are not skinny. This gesture moves beyond the quest to look sensual with tight fitted clothes. This is a move towards giving ample space to the body to breathe. I am just waiting to have some of these exclusive and comfortable silhouettes. What do you think about these? Are you waiting for them too for an ultimate collection for the summer and spring season?

Pale Eye Shadow for Spring 2008

Monday, March 10th, 2008 | Cosmetics, Fashion, Spring Collection 2008 with No Comments »

Pale Eye Shadow
The spring season brings with its advent, a large variety of colors and the whole ambience sings the jolly song of nature’s beauty. Fashion freaks too come in full swing with brighter shades of apparels in order to match up the outburst of colors clearly visible in the nature. This season too, the bright and colorful apparels will dominate the fashion trend as it seems that the virtuoso fashion artists seem to be completely taken over by the brilliance of the atmosphere in this season. But, in order to lend vivacity to your looks, your make-up must have a light hue. Dark shades of make-up will definitely ruin your look and your style.

If you love delicate and fine shades of eye shadow, then you must try out the fresh Eye shadow Quad especially made for spring 2008 under the label of Channel. The Bleu Célestes quad is simply the one that you would like to possess. The eye shades are long lasting and are durable for long hours. The pale shades will compliment your bright apparels while the glossy ones will add charm to your mundane silhouettes. Apply dry in order to obtain a sophisticated and elegant appearance, but if you want to have a lustrous look, then the moistened applicator would serve the purpose for you. It is widely available for $55.

Balmain Rocks: New York Fashion Week

Saturday, February 9th, 2008 | Fashion, Fashion Designers, Fashion Week, Fashion show, Life style, New Designer Stuff, Shopping, Spring Collection 2008, Style with No Comments »

Balmain

Balmain has been one of my hot favorites so far. I simply adore the exuberance of this French couturier. The ultra- modern and superbly gorgeous fashion that is defined by this great maestro of art is commendable. This year too, the designer collection by Pierre Balmain has been greatly applauded by the fashion freaks. The style that he flaunts is too chic. Of course, he is one of the most popular designers among the royal classes of Europe and Hollywood too.

Balmain

This year, I was eagerly waiting for his collection to be unleashed and like each year, his creativity widens the outlook of fashion lovers. I was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful collection designed by such a great artist. What is peculiar about his collection
is that it tends to sustain a feminine charm about it while it exudes the modern flavor. The elegance of his silhouettes is absolutely awe-inspiring. The magnificence and the sumptuousness displayed by the garments of this immensely artistic designer are incomparable.

This year, the great variety of the designs in the designer collection has been appreciated by the onlookers. I personally like the transient gowns which partially flaunt the beautiful bodies of the models. The colors used in the outfits are not overtly bright and put forward a very soothing aura.

Michael Kors’ Collection: Fall/08

Michael Kors

I love women whose every move denotes style, who walk with an aura, and who carry themselves so well that the onlookers turn around and wonder at their exuberance. You too can display a similar sense of style. What are waiting for? Just check out the exquisite collection by the designer Michael Kors. The exclusivity of fashion that is flaunted in his designer wear is just unbeatable.

Just peep at the swaggering style of his silhouettes. I love it through and through. The dominance of the shades of brown color predicts the trend this year. All the outfits have been made with a focus of pleasing the modern woman who is bold, carefree, and stylish to the extreme. The overcoat with gorgeous and rich fur looks tempting. Sleek belts enhance the charm of most of the garments. I adore the one-shoulder outfit on the extreme right. It is simple and elegant. The fur complements to the stylish design. A remarkable characteristic of the entire collection is that the designer maintains the sophisticated appearance of each outfit despite making each of them exclusive and fashionable.

Kirsten Dunst

This month almost all the major brands and designer tags are launching their advertisement campaigns. It is a pretty interesting period for all the style and fashion freaks. Recently, the Miu Miu SS08 collection has been launched and the very famous and glamorous Kirsten Dunst has modeled for the current collection. I was very eagerly waiting for it. I must say that the marketing campaign by the designer collection is simply mind blowing.

Kirsten Dunst

All the outfits featured in the campaign are really awesome. The bags and other accessories that have been show cased are looking absolutely gorgeous. I love the designing of most of them. Above all, Kirsten Dunst is looking tremendously amazing as usual. She is an excellent actress and her style gets reflected in each picture. She can play all roles simultaneously: she is a coquette, a woman with feminine charm and a dramatic personality.
